Many in the world of art and literature were exposed the theosophy,
Krishnamurti, Buddhism etc. Two of them were artist Fred-kann and Henry
Miller, the famous playwrite and artist, whose Tropic of Cancer was a
landmark. Artist Frederick Kann was one of Millerâs closest friends and
benefactors during his early years in Paris and he makes an appearance in
Tropic of Cancer as âKrugerâ. Kann was responsible for introducing
theosophy etc to Miller. Here is a blog on the topic.
