Yeah, as we've seen just in recorded history, many unbelievable things may prove to be possible/true - even if typically enough some to most events get prefaced by a cloud of growing pains.  After awhile, generally everyone's happy to know one thing or another if it's real since those types of observations often prove to be backbone for many good things.  For example, the whole Earth not being in the center of the universe; these days who gets upset about knowing or supposing that as a fact, or the advances advanced. 

Pretty cool, actually.
