It is highly likely that ISIS might have asked the site to remove the
material since it is copyrighted. This is how publishers respond to Internet
uploads of items such as music, videos, and movies. Recently US Governmental
Agencies have shut down several sites which facilitated distribution of
copyrighted materials and the Internet community is currently developing
techniques and infrastructure to defeat such action in the future. Googling
will provide a wealth of info on this.

ISIS, quite possibly, want to continue to sell their very pricey book to
those who can afford them. Obviously, they seem not interested in making the
material reach as many theosophists as possible. HPB would be turning in her
grave in London seeing what Kali Yuga theosophists are doing to their
brethren.

If the current custodians want the commentary material to be widely
distributed to theosophists, (who else has any interested in it), all they
have to do is to have the originals scanned and uploaded to Internet. Why it
has not been done so, I do not know.

Once scanned material is uploaded to Internet, many theosophists around the
world can collaboratively discuss and comment in Wiki type approach. We
should bear in mind there are very many knowledgeable theosophists around
the world who are more qualified to discuss the commentaries and it would be
a boon to theosophy world.

Let us wait and see what is the next move of ISIS and the current custodians
of the originals.
