My views are:

Perhaps it is not important to some persons. To others it might be important.
One reason being that one might be able to better understand karmic patterns and the theosophical cosmological teachings as given by Blavatsky and her Masters Morya and KH.. These can then be compared with others teachings in the search for the meaning of life and its origin.
But this is just my view.

  Thanks for the quotes, they are helpful to understand what Fohat is. On the other hand, it's not that important to know the etymology of this term.
