Inter-American Congress of Theosophy - San Jose, Costs Rica - September 22-25, 2011

The Inter-American Congress of Theosophy is to be held in San Jose, Costs
Rica from Sept 22-25, 2011. The theme of the congress is Living to Serve
Mankind.

In the program, I noticed two names from the United States. They are Terry
Hunt and Eneida Carbonell, both relative unknowns to membership in the USA.
The absence of any elected TS leaders from the USA raises a red flag. As the
largest Section in the Americas and second largest in the world, one would
expect a much stronger representation from the USA. Is there any unsaid
significance in the absence of strong representation?

Another missing item is the membership shrinkage issue. I wish we had seen a
session on ways and means of making lodges more active so that it would
result in increase of membership.
