Thanks for the info. I am glad to know that a scanner was donated to Adyar.
Todate there ws no mention of this anywhere. One wonders what is being done
with the scanner.  It is time that with this scanner as well as Anand's
mention of an offer  to provide scanning help, Adyar or Varanasi can launch
on some specific projects that would help not only long time preservation of
valuable material but also make them available to everyone around the world.

Let us hope we hear from somebody soon.

In addition to the above, I think that if there are collections available in
other private or  lodge sources, projects by committed thesoophists is
likely to become a reality than waiting for organizations to deal with the
issue.

Such inactivity in the digitization also has the detrimental effect of other
private collections not being deposited with TS organizations and they
ending up with public libraries which at least would be open for
digitization efforts  sponsored by individuals, in addition to not being
sensored using some excuse or the other (occult or non occult). I hope
digitization is understood by organizational leaders and take advantage of
offers from interested individuals.
