Internet has changed the way we access information. Internet users tend to
spend more and more time on-line. Here is an interesting article on
Internet, information overload aspects in contrast to contemplative and
meditative endeavors. The author concludes:

"I think as a society we're choosing information overload: we're choosing to
sacrifice the more meditative and contemplative aspects of our minds."
