Banyan Tree at Adyar Theosophical Society

If you go to Chennai where Adyar is located, you call a taxi and many may
not know about Theosophical Society. But you tell them to take you to the
Banyan Tree in Adyar, everyone knows because it is the oldest tree in South
India. It is not unusual to find school children going on a tour to visit
and see the tree. Here is an historical account of the famous tree.
