Dear friends

My views are:

Johannes Tritheim is just one of the many reference to be found in the Secret Doctrine by Blavatsky.


I just came across this link, and thought it would be a good idea to post it.
The PDF can be saved for later use....There is also a book or two available on the same.

H. P. Blavatsky wrote in the Secret Doctrine, Vol. II, p. 512, foot-note:
" Says Johannes Tritheim, the Abbot of Spanheim, the greatest astrologer and Kabalist of his day: ? "The art of divine magic consists in the ability to perceive the essence of things in the light of nature (astral light), and by using the soul-powers of the spirit to produce material things from the unseen universe, and in such operations the Above and the Below must be brought together and made to act harmoniously. The spirit of" .....and more"

Now this Johannes Tritheim was said to be the teacher of Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa (1486?1535) and Paracelsus (1493?1541).
