Yes. I also reached this conclusion. But on the other hand...the other option could be considered. Maybe it was a deliberate spelling-error, a play with words?

  Morten,

I think Radha was referencing the "Anti-nicene Library of the Early Church Fathers like Origin, Tertullianus, Irenaeus, Hippolytus, Pausanius
, Justin Martyr, Athenagorus. So the word was most probably "several".

No, but I have a copy of the Second Edition, which I think was 1893, in the original hard covers.John W.

  Dear friends

  My views are:

  A question to consider:

  H. P. Blavatsky wrote:
"One more important point must be noticed, one that stands foremost in the series of proofs given of the existence of one primeval, universal Wisdomâat any rate for the Christian Kabalists and students. The teachings were, at least, partially known to several of the Fathers of the Church. "
(Secret Doctrine, Vol. I, p. xliv - Introduction)

The word "several" was spellet "severa" in the original 1st and 2nd editions from 1888.
Was the word change in later editions by mistake. Because "severa" is no doubt from "severo"?
So the use of the word "several" is in fact a bit softer to the Christians?

Has anyone access to the original handwritten page?

There are other minor issues like this, which could be adressed.
