bibliographical question in regards to the Secret Doctrine

Dear list members,

A question that has been in my mind for quite some time concerns an edition of the SD that I have that I can't bibliographically date.

What I have consists of three volumes in very dark leather bindings, with on the front cover of each volume the logo of the TS in the upper left corner stamped in gold, the snake over the Tau symbol in the lower right, also stamped in gold.

The contents are printed on 'bible paper', that very thin paper commonly used in bibles and in psalm books. After almost each page a blank page follows, meant for personal notations and annotations.

I lack one volume. I have volumes I1, II1 and II2. There is no date and not much of a title page.

Does anyone know what print or edition this was?

Sincere regards,

Theo
