Glad you reminded of SD.

It was the publication of ISIS and SD which brought theosophy to the
attention of the world even though the tenets are as old as man. In
addition, at a time when French was the preferred language of the elite in
the West, English was chosen as the language for the books even though it
was not her native tongue. Obviously it was foreseen that English was the
language of the world in the future.

Every theosophist should be grateful for the sacrifices she made to bring
theosophy to the world and it has changed every theosophist in varying
degrees. While she did not want to be worshiped blindly, she looked forward
to a future where men and women will be benefited by the knowledge and
would make Humanity a better place.
