Re: "helping the Humanity" we would find it well worth re-reading what
HPB has to say in THE KEY TO THEOSOPHY, on social work or "good works"
as it is called there. She is very clear about what she means.

Again, and again, she stresses that the "left hand does not know what
the right hand does." Meaning that one does not go around tooting to
everyone and sundray, the "good works" one has engaged in. But quietly
goes about doing what lies within one's power and ability. Many will
therefore come up with the feeling that not enough is being done, which
may be very faulty and illogical. Of course with the vaste problems
that the world faces, never is enough really being done, but that is
another question.

If one takes payment for the "good works" being done in publicity, that
is probably most of the good karma being reaped then and there.
One has to do what one has to do because it is a DUTY, what HPB calls
being "Due to Humanity," if it is due, it is a debt, one does not go
around annoucing one has paid ones debts. On pays them, a gets on with
the job.
